Halloween Treats

Hello Kitty witchy. Maya liked wearing her costume all day and thought it was great to have a cape.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Raphael. Nathan wore his costume for his class Halloween party. He said that the other kids kept knocking/tapping on his shell. When I asked him how his day was, he said, "Pretty great!"He rang the doorbells when we out in the evening and shouted, "Trick or treat!" I asked him to refrain from adding: "Give me something good to eat!" The whole neighborhood could hear Nathan's exhuberant Halloween greetings and thanks.

Nathan designed the face; Peter carved; and Maya supervised, offering her plastic spoon to dig out the seeds.

Flower Girl. Halloween day was surprisingly mild in the high 60s and low 70s, and while it was still nice in the evening, the breeze called for a costume change.
At the first couple of houses, Maya was skeptical, probably wondering about this odd nighttime activity. Then she got the hang out of it, eagerly scrambling out of the wagon and holding up her bucket. She is wary of strangers though, and Nathan had to hand her the candy. When we returned home, Maya cried for more trick-or-treating!

Aunt Katie came trick-or-treating with us (the fun began the minute Katie came over--look at the kids!). Katie pulled the wagon and cheerfully followed Nathan's excited shouts of: "Let's go there, Aunt Katie. Can we go to that house next?" The evening was a treat!
