Pauses in Busy October
This season seems particularly busy, hence the blog silence. Nathan is always a good companion for my frequent (and tedious) task of copying sections from books. He sees Staples as a new place for drawing, and besides, enticing things like scissors and staplers are within easy reach, unlike at home.
In Old Wethersfield again. The Creamery put up these cutouts which are very popular with the little ones. (Okay, we tried them too and nearly toppled the light cutouts.)
We saw a few new scarecrows too. Maya found some "babies" dressed in fuzzy costumes, and after cooing over them, she hugged all of them. Peter had to disengage her before their pumpkin heads fell off. Such a loving child!
After farmers market. I'm holding the tomatoes, zucchini, and squash, really I am. We look forward to markets next year!
