Children's Summer

On a mild summer evening recently, we took a walk, following energetic Nathan on his bike.

Maya really wants a bike too. We have some of those plastic "cars" which toddlers can scooch along on, but nothing quite so winsome as her brother's bicycle. She is not yet tall enough for a tricycle. Fortunately I just found a secondhand trike for littles ones which she can ride in the interim, instead of running after her brother.

A girl after my own heart. She is her mother's daughter. Happiness is having chocolate. In this case, chocolate ice cream from the Dairy Bar.
