School Days

Nathan said, "Isn't this cute?" and when I turned around, I saw the above. He brought home an earthworm from his summer Mad Science class and calls it "my pet worm." Even though Wormy is low-maintenance, it will be released immediately. We are not ready for pets yet and, as I convinced Nathan, the worm will be happier outdoors.

"I want to go to school!" announced Maya who sees how much fun Nathan has. It seems like my darling girl is growing up quickly. She is an absolute joy. Even with her "Don't tell me...[insert whatever we just asked her to do]" and Nathan's "But I was just...[insert whatever we just asked him not to do]," we are treasuring every moment and will have lots of fun stories to tell them later.
