Beach Wellness
These are photos from an earlier trip to Ogunquit in the spring. After battling miserable allergies and colds for several weeks, we indulged in a couple of days of taking in the sea air. (It was Popo and Goong-goong's birthday treat for Maya.) We spent most of our time at the beach and splashed at the hotel pool in the evening. The Maine Diner is extremely popular, but since it was not tourist season yet, we had a chance to try their famous chowder (which was was all right). I also ordered an Indian pudding which is touted as a classic New England dessert. Sweet, warm, soupy cornmeal is better than expected...but I'd still recommend something chocolate instead.
Our beach babies love the sand and ocean in any weather. On our first day it was too brisk to splash in the waves, but we were delighted with the alternatives of taking long walks, collecting shells, and digging in the sand.
Bedheads enjoying breakfast outside. Even cereal and milk taste better outdoors.

Sandcastle construction site. Warm with the lightest breeze, perfect beach weather!
