for Nathan who likes rhymes: Spring Things
This is a series of photos from early spring. Maya comforting her upset brother. They are very protective of each other and are often the first to console the other, unless one of them has inflicted the injury of course. Maya particularly believes in healing by administering kisses and hugs. They do make us feel better!
Rub-a-dub-dub...that was in a tub, wasn't it? Ah well, I think these two are in a rocketship headed to Mars and then lunch anyway.
Tent appeal or cat instincts. Snuggle in a fun, sunny spot to read, while Mommy types overhead.
As Katie said, we were actually eating out of an icebox, which Nathan and Maya saw as seats on a train. Our old fridge finally headed south for warm weather and took many of our groceries with it. Peter, who had to buy ice every night to keep our few perishables edible, ordered a new, basic fridge, not only the most affordable but, it turns out, also the only one that would fit through our small doorways and into a tight spot.
Enjoying lunch and playtime outside on this mild, spring day...as their mother cannot resist taking yet another photo of her babies.
