Congratulations to the Graduates!

Maya's birthday conincided with this year's graduation. We celebrated our friends' doctorates at an evening party. Double doctors and wonderful friends, Laurie and Matthew, with our former grad director, Jean.

Diva Jennie-Rebecca serenaded the party when Jean cashed in on a spontaneous song which she bought at a grad student fundraiser. Jean got more than her money's worth from this multi-talented graduate, and all of us lucky ones enjoyed it too.

Our dear friends and blog followers, Joanne and Becky, now on the blog too. Becky's comment about our blog: "I can watch the kids, like Santa Claus." Joanne's comment: "You must be so exhausted."

Very happy grads, Laurie and Anita, and their very happy friend who will miss them greatly. Anita has been my dissertation writing partner and, as the frontline, she slogs through my messy, messy drafts. We are deeply thankful for all our dear friends here and send the grads off with our love and warmest wishes.
