When aunties come to play...

What a treat! We enjoyed a Thai takeout dinner and then Nathan and Maya had great fun playing games with Katie and Amy. (Katie says that Lord Licorice is not in the classic Candyland.) I think Nathan won; note that he is also in charge of the cards.

Nathan made sure that the toy pizza maker was wearing his shoes for a game of Pizza Pile-up which amused Amy. We learned that Katie is our game expert, recalling details about childhood games.

Maya, who does not like mushrooms (unless they are encased in phyllo) ran off with them to make sure that they do not end up on the pizza.
