Maya the Explorer

Daring Maya likes to climb and she is delighted when she gets onto one of Nathan's chairs. She is not content with sitting, however, and insists on standing on top of chairs, tables, etc. Thus all of the little chairs in our home are turned upside down, but once in a while we forget, much to Maya's glee.














Maya has had her eye on the My Little Pony dolls. She usually plays with cars and trains like her big brother, but the colorful ponies consistently captured her interest at the store. Of course her mother indulged her and admittedly has enjoyed braiding the pony's mane too.














Maya brushing the pony's mane. Nathan asked what the pony does, and I told him that we brush its mane and play with the decorations. He replied, "Brushing hair is not very fun."

I'm beginning to think it's nature more than nuture.
