Thanksgiving Turkey Fry

Maya and Nathan were delighted to spend time with their aunties. Katie and Amy generously invited us to a Thanksgiving feast. Amy fried a whole turkey and brined a turkey breast; both were delicious. The kids ate turkey, sweet potato bread, asparagus, etc. Amy makes a decadent sweet potato casserole which I ate at dinner, dessert, and breakfast the next day.

Miss Maya ate dinner, jumped on the couch, and then hovered at the dessert table when the goodies were served. She made it very clear that she wanted the sugar decorations on the pumpkin roll with cream cheese frosting.
