Hanging out with Aunt Sharon

Aunt Sharon flew in for a visit, one day after Uncle Leland stopped by for dinner; perhaps their planes even passed each other somewhere in the middle of the country. Nathan and Maya were all giddy with excitement over their visitors. We took Sharon to campus for lunch and found a Human Rights Music Festival. It was a perfectly sunny and mild day, great for running around the lawns and listening to music.

We really went to campus to the see the horse show since a couple of us like horses. These horses were beautifully groomed and ready to pull plows. This year the horse show took place next to a car show of all things. (See the cars to the left.) The horses did not seem to mind the loud music and revving engines, but it was a disconcerting pairing of events. We only had time to admire the horses and then return home for naps.

Aunt Sharon took us out to dinner at Ted's Montana Grill. She was very popular as both kids wanted to sit next to her at all times, and we hope to see her again soon!
