Fireworks and Mini Golf with Aunt Sharon

Aunt Sharon came to visit, and we had great fun hanging out with her. When she walked into Target, Sharon was astonished to find fireworks for sale and bought a box to amuse all of us.

Peter gave her the okay to take Nathan out for a day (something he would permit only a few people to do, like the aunties and the Spanfelners), and Sharon even sent photos every couple of hours to show what they were up to. They played mini golf, had lunch, and Nathan came back with all sorts of treats.

Swimming lessons. I went into the pool with Maya the fish for her class while Sharon watched Nathan in his. Maya is a happy swimmer, giggling and splashing the entire time.

And then Sharon set off fireworks with Peter urging her: "Back up! Run!" Sharon left with her eyebrows intact, and we miss her after such a fun and relaxing visit.
