Aunt Sharon's Visit

Aunt Sharon came out for a visit after Thanksgiving. (Blogger is finally allowing us to upload photos.) We went to the Christmas tree farm, a first for urbanite Sharon who was amazed by the "inexpensive" tree prices which would be double or triple in a city. Ah, the perks of suburban life.

Nathan liked all of the trees, but Peter wanted to find one that fit in his car and the house. A tall one? Skinny one? Puffy one? I thought we would get a sign from "our tree," something like a pet adopting the family first.

After running around the tree farm and hauling it back home, it was time for a snack at the Dairy Bar, as requested by Sharon who also remarked on the large size of the ice cream scoops. So while we might not be immersed in high fashion or high culture, apparently we have good deals on trees and ice cream. Nathan and Maya enjoyed playing with their aunt and look forward to her next visit.
